So we didn’t do too well on drinking less, there were no trains home yesterday as had to retrace our steps back to tube, sit on met line for an hour and order a pricey cab - to the pub!

Glass half full - the end of the refurb is nigh as we’ve achieved so much, mainly getting rid of 4 lorry loads of debris, fixed seating in, floor sanded and varnished, downstairs (almost) painted, tiling (almost) done, an obscene amount of cash spent on back bar, furniture, artwork and general pub stuff, oh and chef hired. Very pleased with that one

Or, Glass half empty - what the hell have we been doing for 2 weeks if there’s all this left to go namely the wallpaper, the floor tiling, the painting, the cellar install, the till install, all the furniture and artwork and, internet, audio. Oh and the endless clean up
